Answers to the common questions we get from BMW owners and performance buyers. If you don’t see your question here, contact the shop and we’ll give you a direct recommendation.

Do you work on all BMW models?

Yes. We service most BMW chassis and engines, including M vehicles. If your car is heavily modified, we’ll start with a baseline inspection so we know exactly what we’re working with.

Do you use OEM parts?

We use OEM or OEM-equivalent parts and fluids by default, and we’ll recommend upgraded components when performance or durability requires it. You’ll always know what’s being installed and why.

Can you diagnose a check engine light or drivability issue?

Yes. We use BMW-capable diagnostics, guided tests, and live data logging to isolate root cause. We focus on verified fixes, not trial-and-error part replacement.

Do you tune BMWs?

We offer performance calibration strategies built around reliability and repeatability. Tuning is only performed after the car is mechanically healthy and equipped with appropriate supporting hardware.

Will performance upgrades reduce reliability?

They can if they’re installed without a plan. Our approach is staged: address heat, fueling, and known weak points first, then calibrate with data validation to keep the drivetrain within safe limits.

Do you install customer-supplied parts?

In many cases, yes—after confirming fitment, condition, and suitability. We may recommend shop-supplied parts for critical components where quality control and warranty support matter.

How long will my service take?

Timing depends on parts availability and scope. We’ll provide an estimated timeline after inspection and keep you updated if anything changes.

Do you offer track prep services?

Yes. We can perform pre-event inspections, brake and fluid service, alignment/handling setup, and reliability checks focused on safety and consistency under repeated heat cycles.

Can you help plan a build if I’m not sure where to start?

Yes. We’ll review your goals, budget, and use case, then recommend a staged path that prioritizes reliability first and performance second.

Do you warranty your work?

We stand behind our workmanship and will explain warranty coverage on parts and labor at the time of service. We also document findings and verification steps so you can track what was done and why.
