The BC “MOAR” (Mother Of All Rods) Series connecting rod design is the ultimate steel rod, perfected over the years in 2000+whp 2J’s as well as the B58. The ribbed beam improves tensile and compression strength, lipped cap at parting line maintains housing bore integrity and grooved pin bushing delivers constant oiling to the wrist pins. I-Beam design requires no block work for larger stroke crankshafts…like the BC 96mm and 100.6mm stroker billet cranks.

All BC steel connecting rods are fully CNC machined from 4340 forged blanks which produces enhanced grain flow and increased grain density. The forging press forces the grain of the extrusion into the connecting rod shape and aligns grain flow of the beam in the direction of highest stress, while the grain flow around the big end creates “cylinder stress” distribution that provides maximum strength for the limited cross-section available around the housing bore area.
